FPS is lower than I would expect for how this game actually looks. Other than that it works just fine and is definitely playable and enjoyable. Getting 45-60 FPS, but mostly in the 45 range.

There's an OpenGL error on launch. Some people have worked around this via a software OpenGL renderer, but that results in very poor performance. CrossOver devs say a fix is coming soon.

There are some warnings dialogs that come up on launch but game appears to run perfectly anyway.

Native

Performance is worse than through CrossOver. With settings higher than "low", some lights in the game flash weirdly. Controller support isn't great. For my 8BitDo Pro 3 I had to enable compatibility mode in the macOS system controller settings.

For controller support, you need to enable in settings. Had a crash on launch with DXMT. Haven't had any issues with D3DMetal.

Didn't have any issues with my controller as it did with the native version.

Native

Smooth as butter but left bumper on my controller didn't register (8BitDo SN30 Pro+).

Native

Worked decently. Probably could get it working at 60 FPS if I messed with settings more.

Some weirdness occasionally using a controller (8BitDo Pro 3), but easily worked around by switching to mouse & keyboard briefly. Only happens during peaceful moments. Likely due to early access state rather than CrossOver.

CrossOver
v26.0-b1
Launches fine but doesn't respond to mouse clicks and isn't keyboard or controller navigable so you can't get past the main menu.

Audio gets real choppy a lot of the time with some static. Frame drops as well. Overall, playable but annoying.

Doesn't register mouse clicks so couldn't get past first screen. Developer is aware but doesn't own a Mac to troubleshoot on. CodeWeavers are aware of this issue in many games and is working on a solution. No timeline was given.

Works great. macOS mouse cursor appears at times. FPS goes down when looking at significantly complex parts of factory.

Native

Kinda surprised I don't get better performance with this Mac native game. Everything works really well, though. No other issues.

Works great except that my mouse cursor appears when I aim up and click. When this happens my movement is limited until I open/close the inventory.

CrossOver

Works great. No issues.

Great performance but lots of graphical glitches.

CrossOver

Works great except that my mouse cursor appears when I aim up and click. When this happens my movement is limited until I open my inventory. In the Wine settings, I set the bottle to capture the mouse in fullscreen applications. The cursor still shows up, but generally my aiming is no longer limited.

Smooth outside of the city but goes down to like 50 FPS in the areas with more buildings. I experienced this weird mouse issue: When my mouse is connected via cable or dongle, small movements are sticky and jumpy. When connected via Bluetooth, they're fine (just a much lower polling rate). I have a Glorious Model O 2 mouse.
