Review Note:
VSync, Exclusive Fullscreen, all settings to 'High', only AA to 'Low', for low to middle fan noise, switch off AA and SSAO for nearly fanless gaming.
On my MacBook the Startup Screen is all black, you have to press the invisible "Play" button. in the lower 4/5 of the dialog. The mouse cursor turns into a hand when you're hover over it.
Smooth gameplay.
Be patient at the startup, it lasts 30-45 seconds till the game starts with the "Rebellion" logo.

Review Note:
The game has it's own launcher which will be all white. You can still click on the "Buttons" in the launcher, but whatever Button I tried to click, the game always starts in Vulkan mode. Vulkan does not work unfortunately (black screen after initial loading screen). To fix this, go to the Crossover Bottle where the game is installed (or simply right click the game in Steam, click on "Manage" -> "Browse local files") and rename the "StrangeBrigade.exe" to something like "StrangeBrigade.bak.exe" and the "StrangeBrigade_DX12.exe" to "StrangeBrigade.exe". Afterwards, start the game and it should be working just fine (in DirectX12 mode). The shadows do look a little bit "flickery" in the main menu but are fine in the actual game.
About 50-60 FPS in horde mode with a mix of ultimate-high-medium settings and an 1440p resolution.
