Limited data. Resident Evil 6 runs very well through CrossOver at a median 60 fps (2 reports) on M1 Pro, M3 Max. Only 2 reports so far, so this is not a reliable verdict yet.

CrossOver
v26.0
just do the handbrake fix (on YouTube) for the game to play the video files in the intro before launching. some stutters and audio desync in a few cutscenes, but gameplay is smooth as butter.

CrossOver
v26.3.0
1. Install and run RE6 at least once to get all the files and then close the game and steam.
2. Download HandBrake: Open Source Video Transcoder from browser
3. Go into game directory folder in crossover residentevil6 / nativePC / movie
4. Open HandBrake and transcode the 7 files ending with .wmv .Dont change the default settings
5. Now you will have 7 files ending .mp4 .Delete the .wmv files and rename the mp4 into wmv. For example re6title.mp4 rename to re6title.wmv . Put the newly renamed files back into the movie folder if they are not there.
6. Go to RE6CrashFix on Github and download the latest d3d9.dll and place it into the main game directory where BH6.exe is.
7. Set the Crossover bottle to D3DMetal with MSync
8. Go to Wine Configuration in the bottle, go to Libraries and add d3d9.dll in new override for library. Make sure its set with native, builtin
9. No run the game and should work. If it still doesn’t work. Go Users/name/Documents/CAPCOM/ResidentEvil6 and edit the config.ini file and set Fullscreen off, then change back to fullscreen inside the game settings
PS: you will still have audio issues on normal Crossover thats why I would recommend using CXPatcher for this game to fix this issue.
PS2: You might have some white lines in fullscreen mode, check TIPS on crossover compatibility for RE6, maybe the fix works maybe not
