Very playable!

The game is somewhat playable until it gets hot, then it's not playable at all

60-70 fps at 4K, FSR Quality, using 'Optimized settings' from HardwareUnboxed.

Memory leaks are insane, have to restart after playing for ~1 hrs

Runs great, can drop to 50s in towns like strawberry.
Using Digital Foundry's Xbox One X settings, with some being cranked up a bit (e.g. Lighting Quality), as well as AMD FSR 2 being set to quality

CrossOver auto/standard settings.
20 Core GPU.
Mostly stable, currently memory leak, especially in Saint-Denis.
Set texture to ultra if texture-bug occurs.

I bought the Rockstar version (not the Steam one). I had to install the game in Parallels, then move the files in my Crossover bottle

Really good until the computer heats up, I had to point a fan at it 😭

M4 10+10 16GB Macbook Pro
All settings are medium except "Texture" (Ultra).
Average FPS:52 (Because it's a macbook pro with single fan so no thermal throttling)

runs really well on auto. used some optimized settings so it's mixed, but some on ultra some on medium.

up to 50fps with FSR medium

The game runs brilliantly on my M4 Mac mini. It sometimes drops to 40s but for the most part it it is silky smooth.

Well, it's alright I guess. CrossOver only uses half of everything to it runs alright. Ultra-Medium settings since it is 1440p.

No upscaling, MXAA turned off. Mostly stays above 55 FPS, occasionally hitting over 70 FPS in cutscenes and cinematic mode. Couldn't maintain a steady 60 FPS, but it's perfectly playable. on MacOS Tahoe Beta GPTK 3.0b3

- Hardware Unboxed Optimized settings work great.
- Only about a 15-20% performance hit to jump from 1080 to 1440p
-Playable with Lighting/GI/Shadows/Particles/Tessellation set to Ultra even in St Denis (scraping 30 fps during major events there though)

Story perfect
Online -all good but any mission requires progress under Rockstar service doesnt work(infinite loading then times out)

Audio glitches a lot

Generally done overall experience was very steady, sometimes a little stuttering would drop on the absolutely maximized settings that these drops were never an issue because the game in itself was working around 95 sometimes even 100+, drops on the other hand would never be below 70

I have just one session of about 5 hours, no crashes, very decent performance with some minor texture glitches and frame drops but nothing serious.

Play well on Low with FPS between 30~35 FPS. However, when Air gets too hot, it drops to 20~25 FPSs, which makes gameplay hard. It also gets a audio glits sometimes.

plays like native, except some rare graphics glitches(pre-installed windows crack)

Runs great on M1! DLSS Ultra Performance, High Textures

Ran it through Epic Games, which was a hassle to get it setup. Once it did though, it ran just fine. Can easily get higher fps, but decided to max out the graphics and set most of them to high/ultra. Much better experience imo

very playable with crossover on Mac mini M4 base model

exceptional, texture quality, lighting and shadows all on ultra, everything else on low i believe. no dlss or fsr and works like a charm

Running via Rockstar Games Launcher.

Runs great by default using Steam and the mandatory R☆ launcher. After some testing I opted for 1692p with TAA without upscaling, since it looks (arguably) better than DLSS Quality having the same performance range (slightly under 16ms budget for both CPU and GPU frame intervals).

Turning off DLSS might even have helped shaving off 1ms from the CPU time since even upscaling can require some CPU usage, especially translated by software (MetalFX is great but can't match perfectly with all DLSS hardware instructions)

On a Max chip the game is more likely to be CPU limited anyway before maxing GPU, due to its complex simulation systems, so I just went with the higher resolution. The M5 Max 20/40 variant would probably have a better chance to get closer to 4K60 with some consistency.

For most graphics options I basically used the optimized settings tested by Hardware Unboxed. Most things at High while lowering CPU bound extra advanced settings like Geometry Scaling, Water Physics, etc.

Run really well and enjoyable
