At 900p resolution, you can afford to push some settings to Ultra while maintaining a stable 60 fps. Not all of them, however (hair notably), as the Ultra preset dips to 30-40 fps. You can achieve similar performance at 1080p, although some tweaks are necessary to get stable 60 fps.

Steam macOS Feral Interactive port. Runs great. If set to 4k though it does run around 50-60fps in Ultra, or 45ish average in Ultimate, but at 1080p it runs beautifully on Ultra 140+ fps average or 75-100 in Ultimate on my M4 Pro Mac mini.

Runs great at 2k. Looks noticeably sharper at 1440p but requires dialling back a setting or two for a consistent 60fps, which is just something I can't justify based on the quality differential. Overall it keeps 60fps at 2k and essentially Ultra settings (with some shadow concessions). Looks gorgeous. Gameplay keeps 60fps constantly but cutscenes dip into 50s, even 40s. Seems like an optimisation issue.
Uncapped Promotion scales to dynamic fps with no screen tearing, however performance is too jittery for me and plays super smooth with vysnc on instead. I change my MBP refresh rate to 60hz to match the v-sync, seems to be just a little bit smoother than promotion.
If playing on MBP screen I highly recommend turning AA all the way off. Not sure what's wrong with the implementation but even SSAA makes the visuals very blurry and muddy; much sharper and better clarity with AA off and not a jaggy in sight.
Only issue I have with this port (steam version) is that there is a white border around full screen window and it doesn't use the full screen width regardless of resolution and aspect ration.
Final observation is that this game runs impressively cool. MBP fans barely spin up, not audible in the least, and laptop gets mildly warm.
