Great experience, with a bit of tinkering you can also install any mods from NexusMods using Mod Manager 2, of course the performance is gonna get worse, I had 100 mods at some point and the fps was around 30-40

CrossOver
v26 preview
Playing on MBP M1 with 16 Go Ram with heroic laucher.
It is the GoG version of the game.

(Reupload, since I didn't include a few things). I used GPTK 3.0 Beta 3 with all settings set to low, MetalFX set to Ultra Performance, and frame generation. I saw ~2 FPS in high detail areas, and ~10 FPS in low detail ones.

Native

Runs reasonably well considering the hardware, while at the same time providing a lot of customization for the user. I personally play at 1200p at around 40fps (v-sync locked), which can be lower in some scenes, with a blend of medium and high settings, MetalFX Quality and no RT of course. SSR and AO can be some of the most demanding settings beside RT, so keep them at low or medium.

Native

Enable dynamic resolution scaling with upscaling to boost fps. Also HDR works great

I Got this Result Using Kegworks Wineskin
Also can use SOME mods

Native

Maxed settings and MetalFX Quality. Frame generation gets it up to 90 FPS. Turning off MetalFX drops it to 30-35 FPS with other settings still maxed.

Native

Framerate Limit at 60, MetalFX set to Balanced, Frame Generation Enabled (AMD). Benchmark runs at 60-70 despite the framerate cap. Runs great.

Native

MetalFX Dynamic resolution, target 60 fps,

CrossOver

Works good with FSR 3 w/ frame generation

CrossOver
v25.0
On MacBook M3 Pro 16' I got stable 50-60 fps on high preset with FSR 3 and no FG

CrossOver
v25.0.1
Very good experience, 60+FPS when MetalFX(DLSS) or FSR turned on.
70+ FPS when FG turned on.

Ultra settings (no raytracing) MetalFX Quality. No FrameGen. 144hz monitor. Runs pretty good but questionable overall.

CrossOver
v25.0
Achieves 70-80 FPS when the resolution is 1920x1080 at ultra settings.

CrossOver
v25.0.1
Did not start on DXMT and high resolution mode.

CrossOver
v25.0.1
No raytracing + FSR (performance)

CrossOver
v24.0
1080p with msync+high res mode. I do not know what i am doing wrong here but with FSR set to performance or balanced and everything on normal or low with high textures and LOD - it still dips in big swings in gunfights. Rig gets pretty hot and throttles probably. I will wait for the native version.

Native

with FSR 3.1, MetalFX: Quality. MBP 14 24GB/1TB

Native

Mini M4, 32GB.
Runs smoothly with full controller support.
Ray Tracing off, MetalFX/Dynamic Resolution Scaling, and "for this Mac" preset, and all advanced settings are on "High".

Native

MetalFX on performance and FSR 3.1 enabled. No ray tracing. Everything else on the "medium" preset from the game.

Native

Macbook Air Base M4. It dips down to mid 20s in heavy combat, but stays around 30-35 majority of the time. Some texture pop-in is present, some textures can take up a bit of time to load when starting up cold.

Native

64GBRAM, Native via GOG, Settings to my MAC or slightly different with FSR instead of MetalFX

Native

16" M4 Max, 40c, 64gb.
1920x1200 Ultra preset with NO upscaling and NO frame gen nets 30-40 FPS average, with some drops down to 25. This is outdoors during heavy rain (basically a worst-case scenario). Indoors, it can get to 50+.
2560x1600 Ultra preset with upscaling but NO frame gen gets a constant 55-60. If I turn Metal FX to balanced, it is constantly above 60.
Interestingly, the 16" stays relatively cool (compared to Windows laptops) and mine usually sat at around 75°C with the fans either not running or at a low speed.

Native

Texture: high
Vsync: on
Target FPS: 60
Average: 53-55fps

Native

I've played 25 hours and it runs better than my gaming desktop lol

Native

Did play on native resolution but with low settings. Very playable and really beautiful still.

Native

RT Psycho, everything maxed out but path tracing

Native

Runs very well with ultra/high graphics mix on 1920x1200 with no ray tracing enabled + no metalfx or any kind of upscaling. HDR on. Get's about 40-60 FPS depending on what's happening and it's perfectly playable for this kind of game. You can turn down to medium and get consistent 60FPS as well. Recommend turning on v-sync and lock to 60 FPS max

Native

Native

System can be pushed further than the default settings. Set to 1080p, MetalFX set to quality, graphics High preset, screen space reflections medium. Get consistently 60fps minimum (up to 90-100) with very rare dip below; benchmarks at circa 70fps.
Leaving FPS uncapped/v-sync off the Promotion display works its magic but is a little smoother with v-sync on albeit with input lag. Can also set in-game FPS cap to 60fps and turn v-sync off which also provides stable frame-rate with more responsiveness but isn't quite as smooth. For overall responsiveness leaving uncapped is best but it's truly remarkable how quiet and cool the system runs when capped to 60fps. Overall game runs 5-10c cooler than Metro Exodus uncapped or capped.
Looks beautiful, HDR is stunning and so bright, upscaling artefacts barely noticeable and the lower resolution really doesn't show. Not sure there's any better way to play this game on a laptop!
