Native
Runs very well. There is a weird glitch where 2 cursors will appear on screen (this was tested on older version 1.4.4.9 so it might be fixed by now)
Native
Runs perfectly
Native
Works perfectly using official macOS version
CrossOver
v25.0.1Runs perfectly in game and in menus, although the mod workshop seems to be broken (does not affect gameplay performance).
CrossOver
v25.0.1Runs decently on low settings. Can take up to several minutes to load parts of the game. Other than that, it is fully playable. Do NOT turn on fog, that will make the game extremely laggy and give you 10-15fps in caves
CrossOver
v25.0.1Runs almost perfectly with occasional stutter/frame drops.
CrossOver
v25.0.1Objects do not load in properly/constantly pop in, textures do not load in and lighting is broken. Controllers do not work. All translation layers yield nearly the same results; DXMT makes some textures appear glitched or warped. If you still want to play this game on macOS, try using Parallels (apparently it works perfectly there) or use RPCS3 with the PS3 version of the game.
CrossOver
v25.0.1Game runs and gets to menu with no issue but you can’t actually do anything because all the play options are greyed out
CrossOver
v25.0.1Works without issue
CrossOver
v25.0.1Game doesn’t launch/crashes trying to launch
CrossOver
v25.0.1Crashes on startup
CrossOver
v25.0.1Menu runs at 15fps, matches never load
CrossOver
v25.0.1Game can barely get 15fps in the menu and in an actual game can will be very slow at first but improves over time and gets up to 25-30fps. Overall poor performance
CrossOver
v25.0.1Crashes on startup. Just use the native version
CrossOver
v25.0.1Game is near perfect with some stutters. Multiplayer also works with no issue as long as the server doesn’t use mods, the game will give an error
CrossOver
v25.0.1Game runs smoothly in menu, although terrain has no textures, there are no structures, and multiplayer is unplayable due to BattlEye anticheat not working
